Well, there's no topic, but... Here goes.
As I was running, I kept looking back to see if it was still chasing me. It was. I ran faster, or so I thought I had been, because nothing seemed to change for distance between us. The creature that was chasing me was wretched. It had four arms, two legs, and a look that meant it wanted to brutally murder something. That something was me.
I continued running, but it felt like my power was going to drain out completely soon. My eyes lazily studied the area around me. I'm in a forest... I thought to myself. And it's still chasing me. I can hear it.
I continued running and panting, when suddenly, I fell. I screamed. I looked up, and the creature was glaring at me from the top of the hill where I fell, then crept off. I was falling. It was a big drop, so I was stunned. I remembered I had some type of cloth in my bag, so it was worth a try. I quickly opened my bag and snatched the giant cloth out of my bag. Sadly, other things of mine fell out of my bag, falling to the pits I was about to die in.
I grabbed the fabric with both hands, then yanked it above my head. A gush of air burst into my lungs, almost suffocating me. Then after a few seconds, I was floating to the bottom of the pit. I noticed that the pit also had a river going through it, and it seemed like I was about to fall into it. I careened myself away from the water, because I did not know what lurked within its waters. After a minute or so, I carefully landed on some of the rocky areas in the pit.
I felt hopeless and stuck. I looked to my left, then right. There was a passageway both ways. I didn't which way to choose. The left way lead back to the forest, where that wretched creature almost killed me, and to the right...? Nobody knew. Nobody has ever went to that place and come back alive... I didn't know what to do, so I began to cry.
After a few minutes, I heard the growl that the creature made, and quickly looked to the left. Dammit! It chased me here! After figuring out that I was it's only prey, I sprinted to the right. If I were going to die, I would rather discover something for myself. After a few minutes of sprinting, I kept seeing posts saying things like "Turn back" and "Warning!" I decide to ignore them, because that creature was still hot on my tail.
I was exhausted. I thought I was just going to fall any minute, then just wait for death to come. But instead, the creature looked around, then at me with large eyes of fear, and sprinted off. I fell to the ground, then passed out.
END OF CHAPTER ONE.
You guys think I should continue? :P
