What is true power? To me, power is this:
Power: The ability to make people follow your orders.
So I asked myself, what is it to HAVE power? What is the nature of power? Is there more than one kind of power, and if so, is there a strongest one? I have concluded the following.
- Power is manipulative force/obligatory force.
-There are four forms of power.
Let me elaborate.
Manipulation is the ability to make people do what you want. Therefore, it is power... Obligation is forcefully leading someone into manipulation.
1st Degree Power: The ability to annoy someone into doing something. This is a lowly power, and will very likely not work. But it is still manipulation.
2nd Degree Power: Respect leads to imitation, which is also manipulation in a way. Likely to fail, and cannot affect everybody.
3rd Degree Power: Fear oppresses people into doing what you want. This works on most, and is very dangerous. But what kills it is the will to rebel against the oppressor. There is always that.
4th Degree Power: Friendship. Cheesy, right? But no. This is almost 100% effective, can be done with anybody, and has nothing in it's way.
Those are the manipulative forces. There are obligatory forces that lead to the above.
1st Degree Power: Brute force can submit someone into any of the manipulative forces, mainly fear.
1st Degree Power: Mental force can trick someone into manipulation. Usually annoyance or respect. Yet sometimes, into friendship...
