Granted, but it gives you splinter which lead to an infection, and death is only a matter of time.

I wish that I could shoot lasers from my hand.

Granted, but a series of ballistic missiles will be launched from Pen Island at your location, equipped with lasers.

I wish that I could have an appendage protruding out of my bellybutton.

Granted, but it has a mind of its own and keeps on punching you.

I wish for a magic carpet.

Granted, but it will smell like a camel when wet.
